The blog is now gone, it served it's purpose of bringing things to the fore. No sense in continueing it. Im is for many people a happy place to be, I don't aspire to change that.
At least now the modship understand they can't remove people's right to reply with the impunity they've thus far employed
What's done is done, my attitude to the whole thing remains the same!

Thanks for the insight. I haven't been following board events much this past year, but have been around more lately as I am starting to put some information together for a trip north this fall. I did notice your thread, and the Animal section dust-up, and wondered WTF was going on. I had (briefly) considered posting some comments in your thread before it was locked, but thought better of getting involved publicly. You have my sympathy for your personal situation of course.
I personally wrestled with the intellectual property issue as well, but more from the 'privacy' aspect. I realized that removing threads or editing out posts would not be fair, but I had hoped to 'lock' a few old threads so that they could fade away quietly but Mike shut things down before I got a chance!!
I'd better stop now and post this as I've been dicking around with this all afternoon and getting nowhere. Hopefully we will actually meet up some day so we can have a good laugh over IM foibles and personalities.

It was sad to see you drift away like that. I am glad that I had come in touch with you.. and there's a lot to be learnt from your experiences !! Hopefully you will continue posting on TIT forum.
And I kinda repeat mike's (m2) words that hopefully we will meet up some day and have a good laugh at these events.
